Вопрос о необходимости маркировки ГМ и органических продуктов
Маркировка ГМ продуктов имеет определенный смысл в тех случаях, когда известно, что продукт встроенного гена может вызывать аллергические реакции. Например, известен случай, когда сделали генетически модифицированную сою с геном бразильского ореха, кодирующего белок альбумин. Оказалось, что люди, у которых была аллергия на бразильские орехи, часто вырабатывали аллергию на данную ГМ сою [34]. Маркировка, указывающая, что данная соя содержит ген бразильского ореха оберегла бы людей, знающих о своей аллергии. В остальных случаях попытки маркировки ГМ и органических продуктов, на мой взгляд, предоставляет богатую почву для обмана потребителей (потребителя склоняют платить больше, убеждая его, что он покупает более хороший “органический продукт” или продукт “без ГМО”, хотя на самом деле качество этого продукта не отличается от качества аналогов). В то же время, это создает материальную выгоду для создания анти-ГМО истерии, как метода борьбы с конкуренцией, что приводит к дезинформации общества по вопросам достижений современной науки.
